For the first 30 minutes Dollymount were well in the game and were even the better team.
Then from a badly taken corner by afc. Steve Redmond steers the ball into his own net.
5 minutes later a long range punt from afc goes in over Vinny's head.
on 1/2 time Steve Redmond kicks out at a player and a definite Peno. 3-0.
Dollymount started the second half strong and pressurised Afc. But after 15minutes 2 sloppy goals in as many minutes finished the game as a contest. Most of the players still carried on trying but they had to carry other players, which makes it very hard.
Alan Kelly scored a fine goal from a 25 metre Free kick into the top right corner.
Aido Clare also went close with header, just skimming the cross bar.
The team needs All players to turn up, even if they are injured. They can give the team support.

Scorers:- Darren Flood 2 (1p), Micka O'Hara
Dollymount opened the scoring when Floodser went by a few Harding defenders and teed up Mick who passed the ball into the bottom right corner.
Late on in the match Germain put through Darren F with a long pass from the edge of the Dollymount box, which Floodser ran onto and hammered home from the edge of the Harding box.
Also 2 o.g.'s scored for Harding, by again, Darren Flood, a looping backwards header.
Steve Redmond scored the other, with a curling looping kick from 12 metres.

Lee our keeper pushed to the ground leaving an empty net for their 2nd. The ref saw nothing.
Kinsealy player blatantly handles the ball before scoring. The ref saw nothing.

v Strand Monday 15th aug'11
Write up for 90 minutes
Strand 1 v 2 Dollymount
Dollymount played very well through out the whole match against a Division One side and deserved to be winning after ninety minutes. Dollymount have a few new players for this game, Warren, Carl, Eric and Martin plus a keeper from Strand. Goals came from an excellent free from the right, taken by Micka and floated to the far post where it was met by Aido, who side footed the ball into the bottom corner. 2nd goal again came from a Mick free kick. This time a 25 yards, left side, and curled straight into the opposite top corner

After 5 mins Craig gets taken down in box. Tom took the peno and thumped the ball into the roof of the net.
Craig picked out Quinner with a looping 20 mt pass who coolly stuck the ball into the corner of net.
2nd half Kellier scored 2, the best one was when in the box he flicked the ball 3 times in the air over the heads of 4 bewildered defenders and passed it into the goal with the keeper rooted to spot mesmerized from Kellier's skill.
Craig finished off the scoring with a left footer.He also went off with an injured shoulder which will keep out of action for at a few weeks and probably longer.
